Hindi cinema has its autumn hit. Released in early October 2026, “Drishyam: The Conclusion”, the third and final chapter of the crime saga led by Ajay Devgn and Tabu, passed ₹300 crore in worldwide gross in just four days, according to trade tracker Sacnilk as reported by The Hollywood Reporter India.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film had already earned more than ₹176 crore net in India over its opening weekend. Within a week, it became the biggest worldwide earner of Ajay Devgn's career.
The success confirms the strength of franchises in India and audiences' appetite for well-written thrillers carried by established actors. It is also a reminder of the value of strong casting, down to supporting roles: Jaideep Ahlawat, Shriya Saran and Rajat Kapoor round out the cast.
